Since its launch in 2020, Stori has provided open access to credit for Mexico’s vast underbanked population. After reaching unicorn status and securing $150M in funding, the company set out to evolve its brand into one that could represent both scale and empowerment: a platform enabling millions across Latin America to build their financial stability and confidence.

CHALLENGE
Turning first-time credit into lasting trust
Stori needed more than a logo refresh—it required a visual and verbal identity that could signal trust, progress, and inclusivity to a growing base of first-time credit users. The brand had to resonate with a diverse population, communicate upward momentum, and stand apart in a crowded fintech space.
SOLUTION
Designing a brand centered around access and empowerment
We created a new brand system that reflects Stori’s mission to open financial doors for millions. The symbol—an ascending “S” built from interlocking squares—captures the path toward stability and upward mobility that Stori unlocks. A bold, flexible identity system extends across product, app, card design, campaigns, and out-of-home, with bold black-and-white photography capturing the energy and resilience of urban Mexico. The verbal identity centers on a single word: "Sí"—a powerful affirmation that positions Stori as the platform of opportunity.
IMPACT
From unicorn to trusted household name
The rebrand positioned Stori as a category leader with the credibility to scale across Latin America. Since launch, Stori has expanded its customer base to over 3M users and secured $204M in new funding. More than just a design transformation, the new brand has become a tool for growth, enabling Stori to inspire trust and build long-term relationships with underserved communities.
